Raisin, where the top of the Irish rate table lives
The highest deposit rates open to Irish savers right now are on Raisin: one login, EU partner banks, 3.23% AER at the top. The price of the extra margin is knowing exactly whose deposit guarantee you are relying on, because it is never the Irish one.
Every rate on this page was read from the provider's own site. Last verified 1 August 2026.

How the marketplace works
Raisin is not the bank. You open one Raisin account, passported through Raisin Bank AG in Germany, and place deposits with partner banks across the EU from a single dashboard. Each deposit is a real account at that bank, covered by that bank’s national deposit guarantee scheme up to €100,000, Latvia’s for BluOr, Portugal’s for Haitong, Sweden’s for Klarna.
The rates change frequently and per bank. Our table shows the best non-promotional rate per term as of the verified date; Raisin’s own listing is the live source.
The two things to read twice
First, the teaser: Raisin’s advertised 3.10% instant access is a 3 month promotional rate for new customers only. The best ongoing instant rate is BluOr’s 2.25%. We exclude teaser rates from our tables for exactly this reason.
Second, the tax: no partner bank withholds Irish DIRT. You declare the interest to Revenue, 33% if filed on time. One field on a form, covered on our DIRT page, but it is your field to fill.

Raisin questions, answered straight
- Is Raisin safe for Irish savers?
- Each deposit is held at a regulated EU bank and covered by that bank’s national deposit guarantee scheme up to €100,000 per person per bank. The scheme is the partner bank’s, never the Irish DGS, and our table names it per rate.
- What are the best Raisin rates right now?
- As verified on 1 August 2026: 2.25% instant access (BluOr, Latvia), 3.15% for 1 year and 3.23% for 2 years (BluOr), 3.14% for 3 years (Haitong, Portugal). Rates move often; check the live listing before opening.
- Do I pay DIRT on Raisin interest?
- The tax is owed but not withheld. Declared on time to Revenue, EU deposit interest is taxed at the DIRT rate of 33%; filed late it becomes 40%.
